How do I find a hotel, given the plethora of choices online today? Once upon a time, there was just Travelocity, Priceline, Expedia and Orbitz. Over time, this grew to include dozens more sites like Hotels.com, Venere, Hotel Club, Booking.com, Agoda, and many, many more. Suddenly, the process felt overwhelming and I found myself staring at a computer screen in an “information overload” daze. Luckily, one site called Find-a-Hotel.net answered all my most pressing questions.  

I want to find low price hotels by typing in as few things as possible. You used to be asked to create an account and jump through hoops. Today, I find a hotel quickly by entering my location, travel dates, number of rooms, and number of guests to the I Find A Hotel travel aggregator site.

How Do I Find A Hotel Close To A Particular Destination?

I used to look on Google Maps or Yahoo maps to find discount hotels close to a particular destination such as a pier I was cruising from, the airport, or a sports stadium. Yet, I found this wasn’t a very effective way to search because every hotel was not listed and I also could not narrow down my search by type of accommodation or other criteria that mattered to me. Nowadays I find a hotel close to my destination by looking on the left hand column on IFindAHotel.com and selecting my destination of choice and preferred distance from the drop-down menus. 

How Do I Find A Hotel That Is Just What I Need?

I find a hotel by narrowing down my options considerably. For example, on my recent trip to New York City, I wanted to find a bed and breakfast, hotel or resort that had non-smoking rooms and high speed internet, that didn’t cost more than $250 a night, and had at least 3 stars. To define what I wanted, it took me mere moments. 

How Do I Find A Hotel That Is Cheap?

I find a hotel that is affordable by compiling data from multiple sites through a travel aggregator and that is the only way I will ever find hotels again!
